Your current status
What changes when you opt in
- Premium model tier unlocks. You can use the newer / larger models tagged "premium" on the /models page.
- Best-effort anonymized derivatives of your request and response content may be sold or licensed. IPs, User-Agent strings, HTTP headers, and account identifiers are excluded from every dataset we sell or license regardless of consent. Prompts and responses are processed through our automated PII scrubber (Microsoft Presidio + spaCy NER + custom recognizers) — this is best-effort, not a guarantee of perfect de-identification. See Privacy Policy §3a for the full commitments and caveats.
- Opt-out is always available. Hit "Opt Out" above and Premium models become unavailable to you, but everything else keeps working. Already-distributed datasets cannot be recalled.
What stays the same when you opt out
- You keep your account and API key.
- All free-tier models stay available.
- Your data is still logged and used for service operation (security, abuse detection, debugging) — but it is excluded from datasets that are sold or licensed.
Why this is structured as a "Financial Incentive Program"
Under California's CCPA/CPRA, businesses can offer different levels of service to users based on whether they consent to data sale, but only as a clearly-disclosed Financial Incentive Program with a good-faith estimate of the data's value. Logfare's program is described in Privacy Policy §3b. Participation is always optional. Withdrawing consent never costs you anything beyond losing access to Premium models going forward.
